who IS she
Abby Hosterman is a writer and poet based in Denver, Colorado. She has been a finalist for the Write Bloody Jack McCarthy Book Prize in both 2023 and 2024, as well as for the Adams County Inaugural Poet Laureate Residency in 2023. Abby is the founder and facilitator of Good Looks Asynchronous Editing Space (2022) and co-founder and managing editor of Preposition: The Undercurrent Anthology (2021).
Her upcoming book, Burnout Diary, is set to be published by Game Over Books in 2025. She is also the author of two self-published chapbooks: What Ails You (2020) and Mom Shit (2024). Abby’s writing has appeared in Chaotic Merge Magazine, The Rumpus, BarBar, and other publications. Through various residencies and workshops, including The Heart of It Writer’s Retreat and the Poems That Don’t Suck Workshop, Abby continues to develop her craft while balancing her role as a parent in Denver.
